TJA1059是一款双通道高速CAN收发器，可在控制器局域网(CAN)协议控制器和物理双线式CAN总线之间提供接口。此款收发器专为汽车和卡车行业的高速CAN应用而设计。它为(带有)CAN协议控制器的微控制器提供差分传输和接收能力。

TJA1059是恩智浦推出的第三代高速CAN收发器，相比第一代和第二代器件(如TJA1040)有显著提升。它提供更高的电磁兼容性(EMC)和静电放电(ESD)性能，同时具备以下特性：

  • 断开电源时CAN总线具有理想的无源性能
  • 两个通道具有极低电流待机模式，并具有总线唤醒功能
  • 可以直接连接电源电压为3V至5V的微控制器
  • 符合全球OEM要求， 支持通用的方法

TJA1059实现了当前ISO11898标准(ISO11898-2:2003和ISO11898-5:2007)中定义的CAN物理层。包括CAN FD的ISO11898-2更新版本即将发布，规定了定义环路延迟对称性的其他时序参数。在CAN FD快速相位下，即使数据速率高达2Mbit/s，此实施方案也能实现可靠的通信。

这些特性使TJA1059适用于所有类型的HS-CAN网络，这些网络有多个HS-CAN接口，要求具备低功耗模式以及通过CAN总线实现唤醒的功能，特别适用于车身控制和网关单元。
