Benefits Eligibility

Who Is Eligible?

Health and Welfare

For the health plans and programs, you are generally eligible for the benefits if you are scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week and on U.S. payroll..

In addition, your same or opposite-sex spouse [English] , domestic partner [English] and dependent children [English] who are younger than age 26 are eligible.

A Social Security number (SSN) is required for all eligible dependents who will be covered under the NXP medical plan. Please have your dependent’s SSN available when you enroll. If your dependent does not have or is not eligible to get an SSN, you can use an individual taxpayer identification number (ITIN or TIN).
