PCA9959是菊花链SPI兼容的4线串行总线控制的24通道恒定预设电流LED驱动器，最适合对63 mA的红色/绿色/蓝色/琥珀色（RGBA）LED进行调光和闪烁控制。

每个LED输出都有自己的6位分辨率（64步）预设电流配置，绝对精度为±8％。

PCA9959支持多达四组LED渐变控制，每组有一个LED通道。对于每个组，PCA9959支持64网格亮度控制，每个网格的持续时间可在2.5μs到1 ms之间调整。每个LED输出可以在每个网格中关闭、开启或设置为其各自的预设电流值。一旦启用渐变控制，PCA9959将自动更改每个LED的预设电流，设置从grid0到grid63的值。完成后，它可以保留grid63或按配置从grid0重复。
