TEA19161T和TEA19162T是适合PFC等谐振拓扑结构的组合控制器的IC。它们可使系统在各种功率下高效运行。此外，它们结合TEA1995T双LLC谐振SR控制器，可构建高性价比的谐振电源。该电源符合能源之星、美国能源部(DOE)、欧盟生态设计指令、欧盟行为准则和其他指南的有效法规。

谐振拓扑结构在大功率水平下表现出优异的效率，而在较低的功率水平下，由于较高的磁化电流和开关损耗，其效率会降低。因此，TEA19161T (LLC)从低功耗级别切换到新引入的低功耗模式。此模式在连续切换(也称为大功率模式)和间歇模式之间的功率区域内运行。

TEA19161T旨在与TEA19162T功率因数控制(PFC)控制器配合使用。为了确保有关启动和保护的通信，TEA19161T含有一个数字控制。此数字控制还支持快速锁定复位机制。为了在低输出功率电平时最大限度地提高整个系统的效率，TEA19161T将TEA19162T设置为间歇模式。

使用TEA19161T/TEA19162T/TEA1995T组合提供90 W至500 W的高功效和高可靠性电源，仅需很少的外部元器件。该系统提供非常低的空载输入功率(<75 mW；包括TEA19161T/TEA19162T/TEA1995T组合在内的整个系统)以及从最小到最大负载的高效率。所以，任何额外的低功耗电源都可以忽略。
