The CMU3 - RDBESS774A3EVB is a battery cell monitoring unit (CMU) reference design with electrical transport protocol link (ETPL) communication interface towards a BMU. It is ideal for rapid prototyping of a high-voltage battery energy storage system (BESS) hardware and software. This board contains three MC33774A analog front ends (AFEs) in a daisy chain.
It can be used to monitor a battery module with up to 54 cells.
There are in total 27 GPIO/Analog measurement inputs for temperature or other measurements.
This board is part of the RD-BESS1500BUN reference design bundle.
