The BMI7014 is a Li-Ion battery cell controller IC designed specifically for industrial applications including Energy Storage Systems and Uninterruptible Power Supplies. It features:
- Monitoring of up to 14 Battery Cells & 7 Temperatures.
- Configurable Averaging of Cell Voltage Measurements (Digital Filtering).
- Robust Isolated 2.0 Mbps Communication Interface.
- Onboard Balancing up to 300 mA.

- Up to 14 Cell Voltage Measurement Channels with integrated configurable averaging up to 256 samples (digital filtering)

Integrated Balancing
- Integrated low Resistance Cell Balancing MOSFETs, rated up to 300 mA Simultaneously
- Balancing in Sleep Mode, 14x Programmable Balancing Timer
Communication
- Robust, Isolated 2.0 Mbps 2-wire twisted-pair differential Daisy Chain Communication
- Inductive or Capacitive Coupling
- Up to 63 nodes per Daisy Chain, Loop-Back Support
- 4 Mbps SPI also available
Supply Voltage
- 9.6 V ≤ VPWR ≤ 61.6 V operation, 75 V transient
