The EVSE-SIG-BRD2X application software for the EVSE and EV runs as bare metal environment on the LPC55S36 microcontroller. Two separate software is used for the EVSE and EV side of the EVSE-SIG-BRD2X usage. 1 x Windows, Linux or MAC PC is required to build the LPC55S36 EVSE-SIG-BRD2X software.
The below sections provide the links to the required software.
The software for the LPC5536 for EVSE side only is pre-loaded on the EVSE-SIG-BRD2X signal board. Consult the EVSE-SIG-BRD2X User Guide for instructions on recompiling and installing the firmware for EVSE or EV side as necessary. Please follow the instructions for the MCUXpresso installer/IDE to build and to flash the EVSE-SIG-BRD2X as described in EVSE-SIG-BRD2X User Guide.

The EVSE-SIG-BRD2X can be powered up individually by the supplied 5V DC adapter power supply. Check the required jumper settings recommendation from EVSE-SIG-BRD2X User Guide to power the board using the 5V DC power supply(the default jumper setting will work). If the users want to program the board with pre-built binary or newly build source code, users can use either the ISP mode programming or by using MCUXpresso IDE downloading tool. Please check the instructions mentioned in EVSE-SIG-BRD2X User Guide document.
Although not supplied with the EVSE-SIG-BRD2X kit, an extenal EV charger relay and GFCI coil can be connected to the dedicated connectors on the board. Please check EVSE-SIG-BRD2X User Guide for connection details. EVSE-SIG-BRD2X can be connected to other host controller boards e.g., MIMXRT1060-EVKB or MIMXRT1064-EV or linux host processor boards e.g., MCIMX93-EVK evaluation boards using host Arduino/GPIO connectors. Please check EVSE-SIG-BRD2X User Guide or host controller/processor specific EasyEVSE User Guides for details.

If used individually as a stand-alone development board, the board can be powered by the supplied 5 V DC power supply and can be programmed or by using the embedded target debugger. Please use the EVSE-SIG-BRD2X User Guide for more information.
