GigaDevice has revealed the GD25LT and GD25LX high-performance series, which provide exceptional READ performance with up to 400MB/s data throughput, making it ideal for automotive/Industrial applications. GD25LX series supports the latest xSPI Standard published by JEDEC, with Octal DTR SPI interface and command set. It takes only 80ms to download 256Mb of code, comparing to 480ms in the previous generation. XiP operation can also be optimized with the reduced instruction fetch time.
GD25LT series supports the familiar QSPI interface and command set with the same 200MHz maximum frequency as the GD25LX. The QSPI compatibility will ensure quick adoption and reduce the development cycle while maintaining the existing 8-pin footprint for a smaller PCB design.
