About This Training
IDProtect Client (IDPC), referred as “MW” or “PKI MW”:

- Middleware is software that provides common services and capabilities to applications outside of what’s offered by the operating system. (like data management, application services, messaging, authentication, and API management)
- Log in management (local or RDP)
- Web authentication
- Digital Signature (SSDC) service over 3rd party software

- Is a set of core libraries and optional associated tools, which expose implementation of standard APIs.

- Installed on end-user’s PC

- Is used by 3rd party applications in a seamless way, based on standard APIs and standards (CAPI, PKCS#11 and Minidriver/CNG middleware)
